Once when asked which commandment in the Law was the greatest, Jesus answer was, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important commandment.  The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commandments."

In an John chapter 13, we read about Jesus, who was fully God and fully man, humbling Himself by washing the feet of His disciples. 

It is in Jesus response to this very important question, coupled with His servant's heart, that we find our reason to exist as His church in Salmo, British Columbia.

Salmo Baptist Church exists to glorify God and to serve those around us in a way that would allow people to see Jesus Christ in a very real and tangible way.  Our Mission and our Purpose are the same...Love God, Love Others, and Serve the Community.
