In an effort to better serve the community of Salmo during Connection Week, we will be accepting applications for community service requests now through the month of July, 2012. Please be aware that we will not accept projects that require any type of permits or licenses. Our purpose is to serve those in our community who could not otherwise accomplish the work requested. At SBC we believe that we are called to serve the community in which God has established us. It is not just something we talk about. It has become the very fabric of who we are as Christ dwells within each of us. Every year, we host a week long event called CONNECTION. With the help of mission teams and volunteers from other churches we spend the week engaging the community through service projects, Vacation Bible School, community block parties and other special family friendly events. There is no cost to the community and no strings attached. We simply want to show the love of Jesus Christ to our community.
